Process: Single Pass Reverse Osmosis followed by Electrodeionization
Agape Water Solutions, Inc. worked with an engineering firm to design a continuous pure water system for steam turbines. Pure water also washes 400 acres of mirrors which use proprietary technology to track the sun’s location and concentrate its rays during peak demand hours. Agape Water custom selected components, membranes and process to ensure the difficult water with over 1000 µS/cm feed and high hardness and heavy metals was guaranteed to produce water with conductivity and silica less than 20 parts per billion (20 ppb). The core process consists of single pass RO with no softener followed by a single Ionpure VNX module. The system was started in 2006, and is currently producing and silica less than 5 parts per billion.
